Welcome to the Ham Radio Club's home page.
The Hackensack High School Amateur Radio Club is affiliated with the ARRL and operated a SWAN 700 CX transceiver using 80 metre and 40 metre dipoles on the high school roof and a tri-band beam over the high school library until the transceiver went missing. Some 2-metre activity also occurs using an Icom rig borrowed from our advisor.

F. Wendell Tietsworth, W2SUE, sometime co-advisor of the Club passed away on
March 15, 2000. May he rest in peace. "Windy" or "a boy named SUE" came to Hackensack
High School after a full life. In particular, he had worked in Bermuda for some
years as a radio repair man. He taught electronics at HHS along with Harold Duncan
during the 1970's. After retirement he moved to Port Townsend, Washington
State where he continued
to be a super-ham as W2SUE.
